Summer officially started!? Vietnam Trip Day 1

Okay, I know that the last day of school was technically June 6th, but then….. I got busy… Forgot to post… Studied of SATs and ACTs…. Got caught in … stuff? I guess, I sorta forgot about the blog and I put it in the back burner. ^^;;;

ANYWAYS THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE. (By the way, happy fourth of July!)

I’m going to do this ultra long paragraph summarizing my last month. Oh how fun. xD It’s currently 3 in the morning in Vietnam and I don’t have much to do anyways (except for sleeping, but since it’s currently like 2:36 in hte states, and it’s impossible for me to sleep. xP).

First two weeks was really just me studying for the SAT2 in Chemistry and the ACT. Nothing too interesting. The week after that was spent with me driving like crazy in order to get myself ready for the DMV driving test, which I took the week after that. During that week, my Vietnamese cousin Ling came over a couple of days, and we had a big party on Saturday with catery by the Red Crane (which is, btw, an AMAZING japanese restaurant. Google it up and stop by that place. The cook makes really delicious food.) I then got my driver’s license. The day after getting my license, my friend threw a party with lots of rock band. Since we lost hte disk for RB 1, it prompted my dad to get the Rock Band 2 special ed set, so we now have 2 of each instrument + mics. I then started on college research and laying around. xP Then I packed up and on thursday I left for Vietnam. And here we are now. Fast right?

So anyways, my uncle Chu Khai picked me up from the airport around 10 AM Vietnam time. We just went around since he had a bit of unfinished business and then stopped by his friend’s house. Over there, I met 4 students from the states who spent the last month doing volunteer work at orphanages. Three out of four in the group were Vietnamese, and since one of them had family in Vietnam (she is an international student in the US), she brought the whole group with her to spend their last week with her family. They are all in college, but it was stillĀ  fun to chat with them. As for me, I was pretty much suffering in the heat since I hadn’t had the time to change to something lighter than Tshirt and Jeans. Then I just went home and chilled out with family.. And slept, since at that point, my body was feeling that it was 5 in the morning. xD Anyways, it’s now 6 AM.. I think I should put in a little shut eye. :) Pictures of today are below.

Happy fourth of july you guys!
